Alu-Verkauf Sponsors the Sailing Yacht Oromocto
Since May 2024, Alu-Verkauf GmbH has been supporting the regatta activities of Kai Greten's sailing yacht Oromocto. We are delighted to accompany the team as a sponsor and be part of a successful sailing season.
North Sea Week 2024 and Rund Skagen
The first joint events led the Oromocto crew to the traditional North Sea Week around Helgoland. The program included the Capitell Cup Rund Helgoland and the offshore regatta Rund Skagen – Germany's longest offshore race.
Successful Regatta Season for Oromocto
Despite being over 50 years old, the excellently maintained and continuously optimized Oromocto regularly sails at the forefront of the field.
An experienced team, great passion for sailing, and careful preparation ensured strong performances throughout the event.
2nd Place at the International German Offshore Championship
The races "Rund Helgoland" and "Rund Skagen" were simultaneously counted as the International German Offshore Championship.
With a strong overall performance, the Oromocto achieved an excellent 2nd place in the IDM Offshore, only being beaten by the sailing yacht Hinden.
