Alu-Verkauf GmbH as sponsor for the sailing yacht Oromocto - underway as part of the North Sea Week.
The following blog post shows how versatile aluminium can be used, be it in crafts, in industry or in the implementation of private projects.
Since May 2024, Alu-Verkauf GmbH has been supporting the regatta activities of Kai Greten's sailing yacht Oromocto as a sponsor and is very proud of it. 
Two events - Capitell Cup around Heligoland as part of the North Sea Week and then the long distance race around Skagen - the longest offshore race that Germany has to offer.
The first major event in this partnership was very successful for Oromocto. Despite or perhaps because of her age of 53, the well-maintained and speed-optimized Oromocto is right up there in the field.
A well-coordinated team, a great atmosphere and, of course, a lot of ambition are a guarantee of success at such events - of course, the weather also plays a role. 
The races "Around Heligoland" and "Around Skagen" are also counted as the International German Championship (IDM) in offshore sailing.
The combination of both results gives the Oromocto second place in the IDM, behind the semi-professional sailing yacht Hinden.
We very much look forward to further expanding the partnership in the future.
