Our aluminium system profiles are available in different weight classes depending on the design. This allows you to choose the right profile specifically according to stability, weight and intended use.

Weight class Property Suitable for
Standard heaviest and particularly robust design stable constructions with higher load
Light reduced weight with continued good stability frames, racks and constructions with medium loads
Eco lightest design with material-saving profile structure lightweight constructions, cladding and cost-conscious projects

Standard is the heaviest variant and offers the highest material reserve. Light is a good choice if weight needs to be saved without sacrificing a stable profile base. Eco is the lightest design and is particularly suitable for applications where low weight and an economical solution are a priority.

Which weight class is best depends on the load, span, connection technology and intended use. For load-bearing or heavily stressed constructions, the choice of profile should always be checked to match the planned application.
